whatever happened to sunday tv sports

whatever happened to sports on tv?... the two primary 24 hours sports stations on sunday in the middle of football and basketball seasons have billiards and the world series of poker… the four network stations have a minor off-road racing event, a repeat of some show called pandora’s unforgettable moments on ice, local programming (a B movie) and a local football game… that’s it, as at least a couple of dozen or so football and basketball games are being played around the country on this sunday afternoon, there’s a guy who looks like he has a hard-on skating around on ice while another guy hums silent night and another guy plays a violin and that, alas, is sports sunday on tv in america these days… unless, i guess, you have the premium sports packages or head to a sports bar)…

all it takes to have the well connected social life in this world is lots of money... just like everything else... and money has so little value for me personally... no wonder why i don't fit in, aye?...

worse and worse

google dot com, google.com, the google corporation, more and more is becoming as unpleasant to deal with as the microsoft corporation… the way microsoft tries to control everything you do with their software as if they own your computer, google is trying to control everything you do with the web and our only alternative is to toss the pc and avoid the google site (and all the subsidiaries) and see if the apple corporation, the macintosh apple software, and the blogging software that is out there will allow the freedom that google and microsoft do not…

yeah, maybe tomorrow, when i've got more time to learn and explore and more money to invest in computers...
